Friday evening was a bit special; we got to eat (not be eaten) with the dinosaurs at the National History Museum in London. This year’s IBM ball was a Halloween themed black tie affair! Our table was right next to the famous Diplodocus skeleton right in the centre of the imposing entrance hall – amazing.
Cool location and really nice dress…
If it was a Halloween theme night how come Tish wasn’t joining in with the mask wearing?
Ha ha – the dragon face came out later – after I’d had a little too much of the wine 😳
The last time I attended a similar company bash there, in a fit of alcoholic enthusiasm, I found myself volunteering to join a couple of people on an accelerated charity Coast to Coast walk – the plan was to do it in a week, camping out. In the event, they dropped out & Anna & I did it in a rather more leisurely fashion, staying in B&Bs & YHAs.
It’s certainly an impressive venue!
so what is the skeleton behind you and the sloth?
(just thought I’d get that one in before anybody else does!)
lovely frock.
Anne: Sloth is going to be very offended when he sees that comment 😯
