It was still sunny on Sunday, and even warmer, and we realised we hadn’t had tea and cake for ages and ages and ages, so I decided a crag very close to a cafe was required…. Pot Scar just above Feizor.
The village was quite busy, mostly with people eating cakes, but we managed to find a space to park. The crag looks down on the village and is a short 10 minute walk up a not very steep incline.
Another quiet location, only 5 teams. We all focussed on the main central area, where there are plenty of mid grade routes. There’s nothing longer than 25m and the most popular ones are getting a bit polished, but it’s a great location and a real sun trap.
Pete led a couple of routes and I led one, and we were pleased with that, so we decided to head on down to the tea shop before they sold out of cakes.
Hey Pete, how much of your ice cream did Tish pinch to go with her cake ❓
Yeah, I had ice cream and cream! :yum: But I wasn’t sharing!
in all fairness Colin, ice cream doesn’t really go with custard. That is the problem with custard tart … It doesn’t go with anything … cream, custard and ice cream just don’t work.
