Is there a better way to end a work day than a trip to Borrowdale (despite the long drive from the South) to grab a route and a beer? Probably not.
Ian had some fun and games on the first pitch – sorry no pictures of that! Should I have spent less time concentrating on the ropes and more getting a photographic record? 😉
I remembered the second pitch as a big thing, but it’s actually shorter than the first, it’s just very thin, especially at the crux… After that hot work and sweat (it was still 27°C) we enjoyed a beer at the Lodore Hotel – lovely!
