While the summer came to England, spring remained in Chamonix. Clouds kept the temperature cool, so we decided an all day adventure wasn’t what we wanted.
After the obligatory late start to the day, croissant for breakfast, quick gear shopping (tho’ we really don’t need any more gear), and a leisurely lunch, we finaly decided we’d take a walk and have a look at some views.
We drove up through a deathly quiet Argentiere up to the Col des Montets where we could start a short walk taking in the views. Despite blue sky above us, the best of the views over towards Aig. Verte were covered by clouds. Oh well, it was still a lovely walk and gave a taster of Alpine lifestyle for my mum and dad.
