We waited patiently in the driving rain, sheltering under a rocky overhang. We could see the distant breaks in the clouds, and yes we were rewarded with dry weather!
The CC Vice Presidents, Laetitia and Pete (Finklaire), went off to enthusiastically climb every classic route on Stanage within 5 minutes walk of our rain shelter – if you look closely you can see the enormous rain drops streaking down in the picture above. While Paul and Pete (Sterling) set about a few other routes! Gritstone is tricky! Not something my Lakeland techniques cope with that well. 😉 Right, Pete & Laetitia tackle a damp Inverted V |
The VPs score a success against Robin Hood’s Cave Innominate combined with the Harding’s Super Direct Finish
All smiles at the end of another weekend…

Lets get the whole “team” out this weekend whatever the weather?
