Ian and I met up in Chapel Stile with plan A being a trip to Gimmer - the weather in the morning had been wall to wall blue skies. But no, not for us, as I drove down the Langdale road it was raining! But we soldiered on and changed to plan B, Raven Crag...

A massive rock fall has occurred on shepherd’s crag in the vicinity of ‘Shepherd’s Gully’ and ‘Derision Groove’. My guess is that it has occurred in the last week.
