Sunday morning was so wet in Ormskirk that Chris and I called off our trip to the Lakes. My powers of alchemy, over the weather, were obviously failing (like everything else!). Then, by late morning, we saw the fine weather further north, so set off for the Carnforth area and some limestone.
On the way up, we decided on Jack Scout Crag, near Silverdale, and had a very pleasant afternoon……
….climbing on relatively unpolished limestone….
……note once again the blue skies
…….so the alchemy still works and we climbed till dusk, which wasn’t all that far off anyway, with the clocks going back!
Yet more fine weather and yet more rock. Hooray! 😀
😮 You sure do manage to pack in the climbing Terry – I’m sure nobody else (in the world) gets as much done as you!
Well, I get the quantity if note the quality. But that will improve when I start climbing with Tish and the girls 👿
Most definitely. But I still have to stress – not if it’s on that grit stuff. I liked the look of the limestone. Think I’ll have to go visit there.
And whats wrong with the grit!
