Another day in the quiet Scottish Forests. This time even quieter than Newcastleton. We arrived in the car park at Craik and there were no other cars around. The weather was great, mild, blue skies and a few cumulus.
We opted for a 12km Blue route that proved more technical than the one at Newcastleton, but was great fun. The diversion due to windfall proved interesting especially at the route was a boggy stream, only to be met by a bigger fallen tree. Liz was not impressed.
We stopped for a brew in the car park by the stream before heading home (and having an ice cream in Langholm) to rain in Cumbria.
Looks like a fantastic day out. I’d like to check that place out.
It seemed to be wet everywhere south of Scotland today. Glad someone got it dry.
What happened to the wheelie? :zip:
you have a very great bike
