A dry weekend at last saw Paul and the refugees from a wet week in the Lakes heading for SS. We warmed up on Titanic, once upon a time a hard severe now a more realistic VS, followed by the direct at HVS? A delicate start leading to a tough finish. Though only short these routes pack in some good moves, and so after just 6 routes (a respectable day on the Ganley scale) we retired satisfied with our efforts.
Hooray for dry weather! At last…
So Paul, why “Secret” Stanage?
Blue skies, but still not t-shirt weather. 😥
Looks pretty quiet at Stanage, or was that just clever photography?
its secret ‘coz its obviously abroad somewhere with sky that blue!!! 😆
Well, it ain’t in the Dolomites 😆
Can’t tell you Pete! It’s a secret 👿
Ooh temper young man! Simple really it’s the title of a section in the latest Stanage guide. Also it was busy.
