The CC’s new hut in Borrowdale, the Grange Old School, has been gifted a fancy digital weather station by the Wayfarers. No old analogue barometers for the CC, it’s all wireless electronics for us!

It took Ian and I a while to fit it all and get things working – in fact it was dark by the time we’d finished. So, sorry about the quality of the pictures…

What role did the vacuum cleaner play in the installation ❓
It was used to clean up the mess after we drilled a hole or two for power wires and fixings etc… Of course! :good: What did you think it might be for ❓
Sorry, didn’t think of clearing up in a club nut 🙄 I thought it was for testing, wondered if you had any shots of it in use up on the roof 😀
Cleaning up…? Of course we clean up. 😯
This is a Climbers Club hut, not a caving club hut. 🙄 🙄
