Month: December 2008
The Saturday after Christmas found Anna and I running around Buttermere and flogging around the Keswick shops.
We got up late, of course, but we didn't have plans for a big day. We had decided to check out the ice at La Crémerie which is only a short walk from the Grand Montets lift station.
Long witchy shadows on Pendle Hill on Boxing Day...
Anna and I joined many of the Carlisle Mountaineering Club for the annual wander up Blencathra followed by beer. Mmmmmmmm!
We don't get white Christmases very often in Birmingham, so we thought we'd do something about it...
What a great way to spend Xmas day - skiing in Chamonix!
I made my usual Christmas Eve vigil to see the sun go down on Christmas Eve...
With everyone in Keswick doing last minute shopping, Kelda and I took the opportunity to have a walk up Skiddaw...
Working away from home sucks, but at least you get the occassional source of interest to share…
