Well, how could I refuse?
The plan…..is to train Mil as a search dog. I know it’s a lot of hard work, and yes a lot of heartache and it’ll take a lot of my time, but it’s something I’ve wanted to do for a while.
I’m sure Pippa will be ok with it.
So it was back home for a bath (for the dog)
Before settling down..
We’ve had a couple of accidents so far, as she’s not yet housetrained!
But she’s played for the first time today and she’s already playing ‘fetch’, so hopefully she’ll settle in soon.
Wow, how old?
7 months I think!
Milly has a blog if you’re interested?
whoops, a slip of the keyboard. I meant Mil not Milly. Perhaps I should call her Milly Mk 2.
Is Pippa happy with the new arrival? or is there an awful lot of sniffing and following going on?
They get on really well. Which is a relief. If you check out Mil’s blog you’ll see her and Pippa having a good time together.
When does the official training start?
The first weekend is in Tebay in April. I’ve got a lot of work to get some obedience training in.
We’ve nearly mastered ‘sit’, and the ‘down’ command is next on the list.
Its a long shot, but thanks for the Christmas card Dave, I hope you and the girls are well?
Cheers
Rowena
