For Rebecca and Mina’s last day of climbing on their trip to the Lakes we were finally lucky with the weather. Although there was a bitingly cold wind, it was dry and sunny! π Ideas of Yorkshire limestone to avoid the bad (wet) weather that had dominated the rest of the week were dismissed, and we decided upon White Ghyll in Langdale to sample a little of what makes the Lakes such a beautiful climbing venue; volcanic mountain rock climbing and awesome scenery…
Andy and Astrid were there too…
So many people out to enjoy the Lakeland sun and say “Hi” to Rebecca and Mina… Keith, [Mina], Anna, [Rebecca], Ian, Fiona, Laetitia, plus me, Jon behind and Andy and Astrid still climbing above.
I have only one thing to say: “Ich fliege nach Munchen” – that’s because it is almost all I can say in German. Well, maybe it will be Heidelberg actually, to visit Rebecca’s and Mina’s local crags.
Auja, kommt alle nach Karlsruhe! Wir wΓΒΌrden uns saumΓΒ€ΓΕΈig freuen! π
I really enjoyed the stunning view, the grippy rock, no rain, the adrenergic climbs with freezing fingers, the dead sheep at the bottom… I was really glad not to end like that π

Yes, I should have said that too – can’t wait for the return trip to Germany now. π
Hey, looks like I was the only Kat who wasn’t there β Well, maybe Paul too π
Have you (and Paul) diarised the Blog Rendezvous weekend??
Aren’t you somewhere exotic though Terry??? π π π
