Tuesday evening is normally climbing time but work and weather seem to have colluded to prevent any activity until now. Bamford being this week’s venue I arrived to find Ganley shunting up an E2 and Clive looking on camera in hand nursing broken ribs from a mountain bike fall. Ganley reappears and the next 90 minutes pass all too quickly pulling steeply on rounded open palm holds pumping forearms to the limit. Gritstone climbing at its best!
Wow – is that a picture of the famous “Ganley” himself? And does this automatically mean you did at least 8 routes (pitches)? 😆
Hmm, nice pix. And, in the second one – is it actually a fair bit steeper than that, or is that a hill in the background? 😉
All looks a bit hard to me.
Yet more evidence that Paul will be the only one able to climb more that a 4 in Germany! 😳
That is the man. A half G was deemed a respectable total for an evening.
