I’ve been trying to sort out a live webcam feed from Chamonix for far too long… The camera was tricky to sort out, then the software was tricky too! But today I finally filled the void with a live feed of the view of Aiguille du Midi and Mont Blanc:

don’t seem to get anything… no pic 😥
Ian, I can’t see anything either. Perhaps there’s several metres of snow and all we can see is the snow in front of the webcam.
Perhaps the feed only works when it is triggered by a sensor. All we have to do is wait for the Aiguille du Midi and/or Mont Blanc to move 💡
…or we could just ridicule Pete for being technically incompetent?! :geek:
(Sorry Pete, I just can’t resist a cheap dig – luv ya really…)
I couldn’t ridicule an Information Overlord what with me being in the information underclass and everything. He might get into my house over the internet and reprogram my toaster – it would never work again 😆
😳 …think I’ve made it better now…
Ahhh! Well done to Tish for getting Pete organised enough to get it all working.
How often does it update and is there any chance of seeing Pete in picture giving us all a wave ❓
