A nice relaxing Saturday comprising a potter in the garden followed by a 19 mile run through Warwickshire, Leicestershire, Derbyshire and Staffordshire … this was the premier running of the Four Counties run as designed by Richard. Unfortunately Richard was resting the knee/ankle/hip and so Andy (of the Peel Road Runners) was drafted in as running partner for the day.
The day was concluded with cake, but sorry, no pictures.
So how did you work out the calories so exactly ❓
Google pedometer… you can plot the route, tell it your weight and out pops the calorie requirements…
That’s cool. Does it take into account the wind direction, air temperature and relative humidity on the day 😆
I think there may be a future in virtual exercise. I’ll give it a go tomorrow and see how many calories I can burn :geek:
Looks like a good day. I like these map things you do. I wondered if you’d stopped for a cake at each red dot?
I reckon if I did it, I’d use up a lot more calories with rubbish running style, so a cake or two along the way would definitely be needed.
