Inspired by Pete’s plea for more blog entries, I took my camera for a run up Blencathra this afternoon.
Slow going on the up, but with a cooling breeze, and cloud and a bit of rain on top. Up in 45mins (very slow!), more training required… (although last time out was 42:30, so maybe I need less training?!)
Thanks for the prompt response Jon! :star:
See what I mean, the blog makes you get out, then the report inspires the rest of us get out – yeah! 😛
Did you go up from Threlkeld?
Up from Mousethwaite Comb, then Scales Fell (told you it was slow!)
Glad to see you are working on those thigh muscles. Sabiene was recalling your training tips as we jogged around Buttermere yesterday.
How many more weeks left for training?
Lots, fortunately!
Was that Sharp Edge in 45 minutes? 🙂 That would be impressive.
See above.
The day I go for a run that you and Rachel find impressive is the day I hang up my shoes…
We slogged up Blencathra from the other side a few weeks ago. It’s a big hill wherever you attack it from!
Do you know anything about the ‘parachute route’ back down?
Yeah, it’s cheating!
