Finally – we decided to spend our extended holiday in Australia and are experiencing great country sites, fantastic landscapes, tropical places, dangerous animals and exploring the outback tracks. After almost two weeks now we went from Darwin to Alice Springs, via Kakadu National Park, Katherine Gorge to Uluru and Kata Tjuta exploring central Australia. Now we are enjoying the beautiful east coast with its endless beaches and will be heading off to a sail & dive trip arround the Whitsunday islands tomorrow after some great days up where the reef meets the rainforest. Stay tuned for more. 😉
by the way: did we tell you guys I won a trip to southafrica just afterwards :good:
You won a trip to South Africa! How?
Looks like you’re having a fantastic time out there. I would love to go back.
When are you taking your trip to South Africa?
We are having a great time ;). We will be in Southafrica end of September just 5 days after we get back from Australia. I never really won anything in my life but this year seems to make up for it – I won the trip with one of the raffles online with Telekom (our biggest telco provider). Still can’t believe this. It is for two peole with everything included (trips, attractions, food etc.) down to Capetown. We are lucky they extended Mathias vacations. Hope you both are well!
Wow!!!!
So how far did you manage to bridge up the split stone then?!
Looks great – enjoy…
that was really hard to bridge up to the top and my legs just realized they need to grow longer ;-).
Green with envy
Enjoy the Whitsundays, they are beautiful.
Amazingly there are lots of islands with Cumbrian names
including Cockermouth and even Aspatria! Fletcher Christian (Mutiny on the Bounty) came from Cockermouth.
I never knew that!
I’m impressed – free education! I didn’t know that either! Just got back from sailing will be posting something as soon as we do have more than 10 minutes to spare with free internet 😉
