Anglezarke Quarry

Chilly fingers didn’t stop us grabbing a few routes at Anglezarke Quarry on the way home from visiting parents.

Despite the wonderful spring sun of the past few days, it was typical that the weekend should be cloudy and chilly! Why is it that work seems to always fall on the sunny days and play falls on the cold (or rainy) days? Work sucks! Ah well, at least it was dry. ๐Ÿ˜€

No big numbers, but reasonably pleased with a north facing (chilly) ascent of a quarried gritstone (scary) classic, First Finale (E1). Warning, the crucial blocky pinch hold after the peg that allows a swing right to jugs is about to come off! Someone has tried to stick it back on with epoxy resin, but that hasn’t worked. ๐Ÿ˜ฎ
