With that tongue sticking out it looks like part of a haka. Am I right in thinking that it can be used as a welcome dance as well as a challenge ❓ (Yes, I know I can never visit NZ now after writing that.) Reply
Technically it’s still a challenge – to prove that you come in peace – but yes, the Haka is used as part of a welcome. Too bad the deer didn’t do the rest of it! Reply
