Today was my first full day of training with the Kendal Mountain Rescue Team. We went up the Kentmere valley to practice some casualty management scenarios in less than great drizzly weather. But it wasn’t a complete wash out and it was very informative and good fun.
Good to see you’re training for rescues at Old mine areas!! 😆 😆 could come in handy 😈
Did you go for cake afterwards….. ?? :yum: If not, why did you go??
Now that’s a good point! I will have to recommend that cakes should be a mandatory feature of these days… 😎
I did supply you with gooseberry and almond slice afterwards!
What is that green plastic thing in pic1 ❓
Um, nothing special, it’s just the camping mat that goes on the stretcher to help insulate the casualty.
Hey Pete, they’re a good crew. Had to use them a few yeras ago when my pal fell on Farleton crag with nasty injuries.
Say hello to Ian H and Les when you see them!
