Who would believe that just a few miles outside the industrial complexes of Blackburn and Burnley one could be up in the relative remoteness of the West Pennine Moors?
Terry and Bernie took a trip up there yesterday on the bikes, in a good weather interlude.
Lots of tricky single track (muddy as well)…
As well as nice flat reservoir-side runs…
Then, to finish, there’s a super purpose built trail, the Hurstwood trail, which takes you back to the car.
Looks like a great venue with plenty of variety. 🙂
