Ian, Laetitia, Pete, and Anna enjoy a well earned ice-cream (beer for Ian) in the sun after the via ferrata adventure
Most of the via ferrata is a long traverse of the cliff face above Passy

Easily the most exciting part of the whole adventure was this wire bridge. In particular taking one of your hands off to move the cows-tail from one section of protection wire to the next.
Anna, Pete, and Ian getting ready for the Passy via ferrata. Anna and Ian didn't have bone-fide via ferrata shock absorbing lanyards! :sock:
Ian is too busy to write up our little adventure in Passy, just down the valley from Chamonix, so I thought I would post a few photos to remember a fun day out. We’d rendezvoused with Anna and Ian, who’d come from their place in Les Contamines, to take a peek at the via ferrata in Passy. All four of us had cameras I think, so there was almost as much time spent posing for photos as there was climbing the route. However, it does mean I have hundreds of pictures to choose from, here are some of the better ones…
No cake 🙁
Well done!
