Last Friday evening was the official guidebook launch party for the new Lake District Rock guidebook published under the new Wired Guides brand by the FRCC. The eagle-eyed will notice that my (climbing) life is now complete. I am on the cover of a guidebook! 😛 And not just any guidebook, but probably the most popular guidebook that exists to rock climbing in Lakeland! Ye ha!!! Plus of course it is a fantastic book – virtually every A5 page is a full colour inspirational image, topo, action shot, or map. Every climber should buy a copy of Lake District Rock here… 😉

On Saturday the weather was lovely so we took ourselves and our guests Emily, Dave, and Kasia off to Borrowdale to enjoy some sunny (if a little windy) single pitch fun at Goats Crag.
