Being part of L’Etape du Tour 2019 Social Riders programme was an amazing experience, not least of all because we were invited as VIP guests to the Tour de France Stage 16 in Nîmes.

Our hosts were wonderful, looking after us and guiding us to the best spots. It was 43°C and we were melting, but they kept an eye on us, made sure we had plenty of water, and ensured that we were at the right place at the right time to take the best photos.
What a fantastic opportunity and a wonderful experience.
