With the promise of good weather and loads of snow in Scotland, Anna and I headed north for a day skiing.......
Having had a bit of a bug over Christmas, Pete obviously didn't quite have enough to eat over the festive period.
Chris, a friend from London was up in the Lakes, and I decided to join him for a walk south of Buttermere.
Following Anna's achilles injury and 2 weeks of overeating and indulgence we thought it was time to see how we would fare back out running.
At last, the weather broke and we could at least see some of the fells. Anna and I took the opportunity to meet my sister Caroline and her family (Steve, Emerald and Crystal) for a short walk near Keswick.
In an attempt to walk off the excesses of the night before, Pete, Tish, Dave, Fiona and Ian headed for Glenridding......
