The much anticipated flight from Inconnu Lodge to Glacier Lake was fantastic! Although the weather was far from perfect – we flew through, or round, a number of storms.
We are finally back from our massive adventure to Canada where we visited Fairy Meadows in the Cirque of the Unclimbables to attempt one of the world’s best alpine rock climbs, the Lotus Flower Tower.
This past couple of weeks I seem to have fallen in with a gang of rather dubious Arc’teryx t-shirt grabbers…
Last Friday evening was the official guidebook launch party for the new Lake District Rock guidebook published under the new Wired Guides brand by the FRCC.
On Tuesday I went out with Steve, Andy, and Richard to try and get a few missing action photos for the forthcoming Borrowdale guidebook…
Dave visited us for a couple of days this week. He’s recovering from a broken wrist from falling off his motor bike so we couldn’t climb, cave, or scramble and were restricted to hill walking. Which of course was fine as far as Zac was concerned!
Last weekend we went to the Isle of Man to celebrate Caroline’s birthday…
Recently we enjoyed a super sunny long weekend in Chamonix with Dave and Kasia…
I’m just back from a week on a CC meet in Scotland based on a sail boat. The aim being to sail to some Scottish islands and sample the rock climbing using the boat as our accommodation…
