We’ve been after Whiteman Falls for a few years, but have been thwarted by one reason or another, but today, at last, we ‘sent it’!
Tired after yesterday’s efforts, Pete let me take the lead on Sunshine in the Ghost.
There’s a lot of snow in the Ghost this year!
We headed up the David Thomson Highway to check out ‘Nothing But the Breast’, but as our luck would have it, there was a party already on the route. Knowing the misery of climbing behind others and being bombarded by falling ice we choose to move on and try ‘The End of the Line’.
After kicking ass, we got a decent 4WD delivered to Canmore, so a long trip to the Dry Ranges was in order.

So, what do four slightly crazy rock climbers (Ian, Anna, Laetitia and Pete) do on the first days of the “summer†rock climbing season?
Well Kats, Needless to say, it snowed on the night of our early morning departure! Here you see us at 5am hopelessly snowed in, awaiting the snow plough.
