Summer let us down again in the Lakes.............. with rain threatening in Langdale we headed again for Raven Crag, (close to the road) and the rain duly arrived; no sign of Gene Kelly, but better footwork from Tish as she danced up the wet rock.....................
Ian and I met up in Chapel Stile with plan A being a trip to Gimmer - the weather in the morning had been wall to wall blue skies. But no, not for us, as I drove down the Langdale road it was raining! But we soldiered on and changed to plan B, Raven Crag...
After a great weeks climbing in Chamonix, the Tuesday night meet was scheduled for Curbar (Cloggy of the Peak)...

Well Kats, summer seems to have arrived...
Midweek sunshine and I met Pete at Shepherds to grab a route after work. After all the slab climbing on bolts in Chamonix, Pete fancied something steeper....... half way up we realised just what training we needed to do.......
Nobody about or meet at Shepherds...... all away in sunny climes on sunny climbs
After waking up to a beautiful morning, late as usual, I was keen to get out after two days cooped up in the apartment...
Nobody told Bernie it was an abseil descent...
