There's nothing like catching the best weather of the week. Actually, with all the rain so far this month (and yet more forecast), probably the best weather of the month! And then enjoying the late evening sunshine at Castle Rock with a couple of friends...

Checking out a new venue recommended by Ian, La Joux, just outside Chamonix was fun. Although, being next to a mountain stream and pasture ensured that the monster horse flies ate more of our blood than we ate French bread and cheese at lunch time...
We were super lucky at this year's CC Aspirant members meet - the weather forecast looked poor. Whilst many headed for the reliability of Tremadog, we chose wisely and went to a sunny and dry (but a little windy) Anglesey to visit Castell Helen. Sea cliff adventure climbing - exciting...
