While visiting my Mum in Worcester we managed to get out in the amazing winter sunshine to enjoy the Sculpture Trail at the Forest of Dean...
At last, the weather broke and we could at least see some of the fells. Anna and I took the opportunity to meet my sister Caroline and her family (Steve, Emerald and Crystal) for a short walk near Keswick.
Caroline and Saskia came up to the Lakes to enjoy the wonderful weather. It rained!

700 years is a long time ...... we hadn't even started climbing then (well maybe Terry had). Anna and I visited Burgh by Sands where King Edward 1 died on 7th July 1307 for the anniversary commemorations. I wonder if he died because of the torrential downpour????
