We’re just back from a little over two weeks of skiing in Chamonix. Well, I say two weeks of skiing, but in fact the first week was a bit short on the skiing as there was no (very little) snow. We did manage a few days, but in the end we decided the lift pass …
Monday was amazing as well. More wall to wall sunshine, so this time we did jump on the lift up to the Aiguille du Midi (not the first lift I hasten to add).

We left Chamonix on Monday evening and headed over to Germany, via Switzerland, to visit our friends in the very small village of Todtmoos-Au in the Black Forest.
