After a day honing our skiing technique at the local ski area we headed high as the temperatures were rising in the valley.
How much is possible in just one weekend? Well, partly thanks to cheap flights a weekend in the Alps is possible. But what about redecorating a flat and going on a long ski tour all day Saturday too?
After some wintry showers, I decided to take the skis for a bit of a slide around the the tops of the fells in the far north of the Lakes.
