Sunny but cold today so we decided to walk instead of climb.
Another fantastic day in the Lake District.....
Last year we won this event, so we had to go back and defend our title...
For one reason or another, Terry and John Hollands didn't get away until quite late on Saturday for their proposed trip to Borrowdale and the Grange Hut...
After yesterday's outing on limestone, it was back to Borrowdale where we thought we might try a route on Walla Crag...
Last weekend's trip to Crummackdale was fun, so we thought another limestone-day was called for; thus a return to Twistleton Scar...
Despite the lack of comments on Tish's Crummackdake post, it did make a big impression on me...
After yesterday's exertions, it was back to Castle Crag today. While Pete battled on the North crag with Thirlmere Eliminate, Anna and I stayed on the south side and chose Gazebo...
Bloody hell - that top pitch is a sandbag! We'd backed off Thirlmere Eliminate before when we found the sloping ledge below the final crux pitch running with water. So, to put things straight we went back...
