After a night camping near Castleton which provided the first wet weather test for a tent I had bought on the day of Pete’s wedding, I met Rachel and Richard for breakfast. We then drove to the TSG hut to sort out a trip into Peak cavern.

Tuesday evening, and Anna and I headed for our own secret crag in Borrowdale............
Ian wanted to have an adventure lined up for today and suggested we went to my secret crag to grab a new route. So, after getting Anna and Ian to sign in blood that they'd keep it's location a secret we headed off...
Thursday evening was the start of the Armstrong Watson bi-weekly walking season, but to start things off this year we had a special occasion............
A day with lots of places and things to do....
The day began with my opening the curtains and seeing the sunny weather had not yet been replaced by the forecast snow and a text message "What you doin' today? Wanna go climbing?" to Ian. The day ended with the forecast snow (and winter temperatures) driving us away from our chosen crag...
Pippa's nose was working well this morning and had 2 finds which was handy....
