A day at Shepherds crag. Dave enjoyed Ardus (MVS) (as you can see from his grin!) and I think (?) he enjoyed Jaws (E1) too...
It’s one of the best scrambles in the Lakes! So what better way to kick off the Easter Bank Holiday weekend?

Taking a break from the never ending task of decorating the guest bedroom, aiming to get it complete before the spring and summer weather arrives and the climbing season is in full swing, we thought we’d have a different kind of swing!
Capella (E1) is an awesome route in any conditions.
Its been open for five months and we’ve only just got round to a visit!
Took advantage of work sending me to London and visited the London Eye. Not a bad view. But to say it’s expensive is a massive understatement!

We drove up the Newlands Valley to see if an ice route I know there-about might be frozen, they say it should be if Derwent Water is at all frozen (and it was).
