Series: Antarctic Painting
As ever the start of the Halley season started with the long journey from London to Cape Town and then the flights to Antarctica. We boarded the usual Russian Ilyshun which lands on an ice runway and then did the 5 hour flight from Novo to Halley in a Basler aircraft.
Well, it’s almost time to head south again for another 5 months of painting, demolition and digging snow.
The last 10 days have seen us travelling from Halley to the UK...........

With now only 17 days before the first flight out of Halley and 4 weeks to the end of season and the ship leaving...
